Portland, Oregon

Coriolis advised the Portland Economic Development Commission on the potential for creating an new downtown public market as a centrepiece in the redevelopment of a residential and heritage district.

Vancouver, BC

Coriolis was part of a consulting team retained by CMHC to explore alternatives for enhancing Granville Island, located in Vancouver, BC. The work included exploring options for under-utilized sites on the Island. Coriolis has been providing strategic planning, market analysis, and financial analysis advisory services to Granville Island on various projects for over 25 years.

We have completed performance reviews of Granville Island Public Market in Vancouver, BC, leading to recommendations on vendor mix, layout changes, marketing programs, lease terms, rental rates, and operations. We have also conducted customer satisfaction and trade area penetration surveys.

We completed a comprehensive performance review, improvement program, and redevelopment plan for the St. Lawrence Market, Toronto, Ontario.

Kitchener, Ontario

We recommended vendor mix, vendor layout, and management structure for a new Market development in Kitchener, Ontario. We have also drafted a new lease and rental agreements and prepared guidelines for tenant fit-out.

London, Ontario

We completed a conceptual plan and feasibility study for the new downtown market in London, Ontario. We recommended vendor mix and layout, assisted with conceptual design, recommended a new lease,
and assisted with tenant recruitment strategy.

Winnipeg, Manitoba

We managed the feasibility study and conceptual design for the Forks Market and provided detailed inputs during construction and lease-up. We have also been retained on various occasions to help update business plans and identify strategies to improve sales performance.
